The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist will be responsible for collecting, evaluating and compiling data from all program health areas in PSM project (HIV, Malaria and Family Planning) and related activities, and will be responsible for writing reports and analyzing data.
Responsibilities
Your contribution
- Monitoring logistics data and malaria case management data from health facilities, which are compiled by provincial malaria teams, within specific time periods and in accordance with the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP's) directives;
- Monitoring data quality in the project database, as well as other data sources, and data cleaning as necessary;
- Support capacity building for provincial focal points in data collection, management, analysis and usage/applicability;
- Support the development of job aids and other guides to improve data collection, management, and reports;
- Create and interpret graphics;
- Travel to the provinces as necessary

Our ideal candidate will possess:
- University degree, Masters degree is preferred;
- Native Portuguese, with high-level of written Portuguese; fluent in English;
- Excellent capacity in data analysis;
- Excellent capacity in creating reports in Portuguese and English;
- Excellent capacity to train others;
- Highly proficient in Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Experience in supervision preferred;
- 5-7 proven experience;
- Motivation to take on new tasks and responsibilities;
- Capacity to work under pressure;
- Experience in working with other NGOs or international companies, with a preference for having worked on USAID projects.
- References will be required.
- The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check.
