An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator to manage the implementation of Tearfund’s contractual obligations of the SWIFT Consortium in DRC. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, support and monitoring, and will coordinate the implementation and reporting from Tearfund’s operational team in the DRC, with overall oversight of budget of up to £10 million
You will need proven significant experience of project management including design and implementation of MEAL tools and budget and financial management, as well as implementation of WASH projects within the relief and development context, and ideally experience of working with a Payment by Results Contract. In addition previous experience of having worked with a variety of groups, including local and international NGOs and government authorities including working in a Consortium and working with institutional donors (especially DFID) will be required.
The candidate must also be able to work in potentially insecure environments, with remote supervision, to tight timeframes. Applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs. All posts involve potential contact with children and the recruitment process will include specific checks related to child protection issues.
