Purpose of the Position
Under General supervision of the Representative, the Executive Assistant will provide a variety of administrative and secretarial support duties, as well as organization and coordinative functions to the office of the Representative.
Key Expected Results
The efficiency and effectiveness of the support provided by the Executive assistant to the development, implementation and monitoring of programs/projects facilitates the delivery of concrete and sustainable results for the respective section, which in turn enhances the offices and UNICEF’s capacity in helping the most vulnerable women and children.
Key Accountabilities and Duties & Tasks
Qualifications of Successful Candidate
Education:High School Graduation, Secretary Training, Training in PC and Variety of software applications, including Word Perfect and spreadsheet.
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible secretarial functions, some of which should have been at a secretarial level.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and in the local language of the duty station required.
