The State University of New York’s Center for International Development (SUNY/CID) is one of the preeminent leaders in the field of democracy and governance (D/G) with more than 25 years of experience managing more than $300 million dollars in donor-funded projects.
SUNY/CID is a seeking a field-based Financial Manager for the forthcoming USAID-funded Integrated Governance Activity in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is anticipated that the project will focus on strengthening key governance institutions in order to improve the delivery of health, education, and economic growth services at the community level and to strengthen the social contract between citizens and government in the DRC.
Qualifications:
· Fluency in French and English
· Graduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
· At least ten years of experience in financial management of large, complex, donor-funded projects, with demonstrated experience with funds control and monitoring of fraud and abuse.
· Experience working with USAID- funded assistance projects and demonstrated familiarity with USAID regulations and compliance issues.
